Dr. James R. Bragg, Jr. is a native of Knoxville Tennessee. He received a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1976. In 1979 he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences at Memphis. Following graduation Dr. Bragg returned to the Knoxville area and opened his dental practice in Strawberry Plains.
He is a long time member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the local Second District Dental Society. Dr. Bragg is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He was inducted into the Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society in recognition of his lifelong interest in the advancement of dentistry and dental education. Dr. Bragg is honored to have had the privilege of providing General, Preventative and Cosmetic dentistry for the past 44 years to his patients.
Dr. Bragg is committed to providing each of his patients with the best dentistry has to offer. He has been recognized by the Tennessee Dental Association for exceeding continuing education requirements. Both he and his staff stay current with the latest treatment techniques and dental technologies. He is very proud of his staff who collectively bring more than 85 years of dental knowledge and experience in caring for his patients.
